I see you

Lucy's hair is getting out of control! It pretty much completely covers up her eyes.

Today, I decided to put a barrette in her hair to clip it back. She is looking at me confused because she has no clue what I just did...I pretended to rub her head and I quickly snapped it in place. If she knew it was there...she'd be trying to get it out.

Now I know I can do her hair for my birthday...

Out to the moon

I often lay at night staring out my window at the teeny tiny moon in the sky. I wonder about life. How it'll all turn out in the end because at the moment I haven't the slightest clue what is going on. I ponder the choices I need to make and still end confused.

I stare at the moon and wish I could be on it. When I was young, I dreamed that I would live there one day. That I would have a gigantic bubble house and be away. But that won't be happening, so I have to figure out how I will be living my life. One day I might have the answers...

Paint pots

I love that I can get paint samples from home depot for smaller paint projects. One little jar is all I need. Maybe when I'm done with the project, I will post a pic :)

Raspberry mashing

The party is a month away and prepping for it is underway. Last week, my friend Jennifer came over to help with my drink mixing extravaganza. I am thinking that I want two signature drinks at the party. We tried out a citrus drink which was light and summery. I really want a pink drink so we tested a raspberry mint recipe. It was tons of fun mashing the raspberries. It tasted delicious! Then we used it to make the drink....not so delicious. Back to the drawing board! Just need to find one more.

Field Trippin

I will be able to blog more now because I can do it on my phone! Whoopeeee! I typically wait until I upload pics to my MacBook, but I'm usually lazy...

Back to the picture on hand. So the past Sunday, rocky and I took a field trip to LA. Went to American Rag for some shopping and then headed over to Jetrag for the weekend yard sale. Now it is not my thing to dig through piles of stuff...but it's always fun watching other people do it. There was one group of ladies hoarding piles of stuff and would scream "that's mine!!!" if anyone got near it. Hilarious. Rocky found his Christmas pants in the piles... :)

I liked some things inside the store but it wasn't in the best condition. Oh well next time.

We headed back to Vegas at 6pm. Right on schedule without trying to be.

La salsa!

For lunch the other day, Audrey and I called to place an order at La Salsa. I ordered a taco salad with chicken and she got carne asada. They must've been bored because they had drawn a corresponding animal to what we ordered. Such a cute surprise. Audrey's cow looked a lot like a pig with spots though...
